Itinerary

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Your experience begins with pickup in the Rovaniemi area and a short drive to Santa Claus Village. During the visit, your guide will introduce you to some of the stories and highlights of the village. You will cross the famous Arctic Circle and have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus in person.

We will also visit Santa Claus’ Main Post Office, where you can discover how this special Arctic post office works and, if you wish, purchase and send postcards to family and friends with the official Arctic Circle postmark. You will also have time to explore the village and enjoy its magical atmosphere.

The adventure continues with a visit to a husky farm, where you will meet the huskies and learn more about these remarkable Arctic dogs. The experience includes an exciting husky sled ride of approximately 2 km through the snowy surroundings. The actual distance may be shorter at the beginning of the winter season depending on snow and trail conditions.

Throughout the experience, we will take digital photographs to capture some of the special moments of your Arctic adventure.

At the end of the experience, we will begin the journey back and drop you off at your pickup point in the Rovaniemi area.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Bookings are accepted from 1 participant.
Each group has a maximum of 8 participants. When demand and operational availability allow, more than one small group may operate on the same date.
Bookings close 10 hours before the scheduled starting time.
The husky sled ride normally covers a distance of approximately 2 km. At the beginning of the season, particularly during the first half of December, snow conditions may require a shorter route of approximately 500 meters. The final distance will depend on the snow and safety conditions on the day of the experience.
The meeting with Santa Claus is included. However, official photographs and videos offered during the visit are purchased directly at Santa Claus Village and are not included in the price of the experience.
The Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate, as well as postcards and postage from Santa Claus’ Main Post Office, are optional and at the participant’s own expense.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In exceptional situations where weather or safety conditions prevent the experience from operating safely, Lapland Fox Tours will prioritize offering an alternative date. If rescheduling is not possible, a 100% refund of the amount paid will be provided.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the experience starts: 100% refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the experience starts: non-refundable.
If Lapland Fox Tours cancels the experience due to weather, safety conditions or circumstances affecting the operation, we will offer an alternative date whenever possible. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
